Disturbing facts.

Assalaamun Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, brothers and sisters.

This article is about the disturbing things that I've come to notice from the people and from myself. So there are very disturbing things, ways of communicating and thinking, among every people without a doubt.
One of these things is that some Muslims, who have born into Islam regard themselves as somehow better Muslims than those who have converted to Islam. This fact could be branded as one of the brands of pride, or arrogance. As people claim something that really has no foothold in the religion of Islam. People who have educated themselves and have studied about Islam can know that the Muslims in the times of the prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, were mostly what we call converts. Because in those days before Islam, it was normal thing for most of the Arabs to worship idols and when prophet started to receive the message from Allah, people started to convert or revert back to Islam. Again uneducated and unknowing persons who have born into Islam make things from somewhere which really don't belong to Islam. It's very dire and not good for such words to go around as they are not from Islam, from where they are? I don't know completely but one of the reasons, may be that these kinds of things go around because of the ignorance about Islamic knowledge.

Then there's a thing that can be called "Islamophobia", which is mainly and mostly for people who don't know a thing about Islam. Yet the come to believe that this what is told to them, by media is fully true. It's easy to mislead people who don't know a thing about the subject that you're talking about. Mostly these people who spread Islamophobia don't themselves know anything about Islam, they have just heard from somewhere that "Islam is this and Islam is that" and they come to believe that it's the truth. But in the end these people shouldn't be taken as bad people, it's the same as children. When they don't know anything about a subject they come to assume things, but when they get the knowledge about the fact they either accept it and find it as truth or find it as truth yet deny it. Either way we're not the ones losing, we should try to inform them about the facts but if they come to deny them who're we to blame ourselves? People who are arrogant and uneducated can easily be mislead, but if we have done our part then there's their part and only if Allah wills it to be so, they will find the truth.
So the most disturbing fact (among us as Muslims) could be the ignorance of our own religion, or ignorance (for Muslims and for those who aren't Muslims) about the things that there are. As ignorance in any form is quite bad thing, it leads to many things and none of them are good. Except if we start to inform ourselves when we find ourselves to be ignorant about something. Education is needed in everywhere, not only the education that is available at schools but education that can be acquired on our own private time.
We as humans should notice one great fact and that is, that nothing has ever been accomplished if people are but ignorant. It's like a circle where people accuse each others about things that they really don't know, the ones who know, may stay quiet as they know that words without meaning are of nothing. As it's told to us we should remain quiet if we don't have anything worthy or truthful to say, it's better to stay quiet than to speak words of falsehood or just to blabber.

When I write this, I inform and remind myself and at the same time I try to remind and inform you.

JazakAllah Khair.
Thank you for reading this.

Everything that was in error, came completely from me. And everything that came as truth, is completely from Allah. InshAllah we would live this life as it's meant to be lived, so that we could achieve the best of hereafter.

Pride.

Assalaamun Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, brothers and sisters.

I would like to go through this one, very dire thing that's in our nature. It is very deceiving and is able to make us do a lot of bad, while we're not recognizing it as a real threat. So this thing is pride, mainly pride that makes us look down on others or makes us think that we would be better than normal human beings. This pride can be found in many places, among every community and among every people. It's quite a basic thing as people tend to be proud of something or of someone, especially people tend to be proud about their own children, which isn't bad. As long as it doesn't go to the level of regarding your children of being flawless or that they would be perfect i.e. higher than other people and other children.

We're all equal in humanity, we live, we eat, we do the things that we have to do so that we can remain to stay alive. And we all need those things, all of us have to eat and drink and do all the same things. Otherwise there would be complications, such as dehydration, undernourishment, from dirt or not maintaining the hygiene there comes all sorts of problems, diseases etc. So we're very much the same, so what is it that makes us think so highly of ourselves? Maybe it's the ways that our parents have taught us, to have pride about what you are etc. maybe it's the group in which we live in, (as friends are part of what you are/ what kind of a person you will become) or maybe it's the society and it's norms. Culture or such things, that has been with the community for many centuries.

And why I came to speak about pride? Because it's very dire thing for those who believe, as you may have heard about hadeeths in which our beloved prophet, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, stated that if one has pride in him or her, even the weight of an atom that would prevent them from entering paradise. And many of us have heard and read about the state of Iblis the accursed one, (may Allah guard us from he's evil plots) he was so proud of what he was that he regarded himself as a better being than our forefather Adam, alayhis salam. Imagine he didn't prostrate himself to Adam, alayhis salam, even when it was Allah's command to do so. And why? Because he was made out of fire and Adam, alayhis salam, was made out of clay. So this was why he didn't prostrate himself before Adam, alayhis salam, just because he was made from a different element. And this was why Allah banished him and told to him that he would reside in hell after the Judgement day. But until that certain hour, he (Satan/ Iblis) could deceive and mislead all of those who are not from among the chosen servants of Allah.

So in the end what should we be proud of? Of being a Muslim? Or of being a person who has knowledge or strength beyond others?

I would say as my own opinion that we should be happy that we're Muslims, as we didn't make ourselves as Muslims we were chosen to walk upon this path so what is there to be proud of? Because why should we be proud of something that doesn't come from us? Instead of pride, we could be thankful to Allah that He has chosen us to walk upon this path and of those things that He has given to us. Would it then be the strength of physics or knowledge, it all comes from Him.

We are Muslims and we worship Allah the Creator of all that there is, we're humble before Him and we're humble before our parents. We cannot look down on others, because we too will be judged. It is Allah Who sees and hears everything, so how can we say that: "we're better than this and this person"? While we don't know that what these people do on their private time, or what is their fate and what they can become? It's Allah Who perfectly knows everything that there is, praise be to Him.

As a reminder I want to tell that this is completely my own opinion about pride, there's pride that isn't bad but that pride doesn't make us think highly of ourselves nor look down on others. Whatever faults I have done writing this, comes completely from me. And whatever is written in truth comes from Allah the most Magnificent, the most Merciful.

JazakAllah Khair, thank you for reading this.

May Allah guide us towards the truth and forgive us for our shortcomings. Aamen.
